Universidad Carlos III de Madrid (UC3M) is a public university in the Community of Madrid, Spain, which at present, consists of 137 recognised Research Groups dependent on 27 academic departments.

 

The Aerospace Engineering faculty group covers multiple research expertise such as the Aircraft Operations Laboratory, led by Manuel Soler. UC3M's role in the project is associated with the leadership of work package 2 (Robust aircraft trajectory optimization toward identifying climate optimal solutions with high confidence levels), communications and leadership of task 3.4 (Development of a service informing about climate impact of aviation in European airspace).
