F4EClim Maturity Gate Meeting Held in Brussels

On 30 June 2026, the F4EClim project reached an important milestone with its Maturity Gate Meeting, held at EUROCONTROL’s premises in Brussels.

The meeting brought together the SESAR Joint Undertaking (SJU) and the F4EClim project team to review the progress achieved by the project and assess the maturity of its solutions. Discussions covered the project’s scope, validation activities and expected benefits, followed by a detailed maturity assessment and an exchange on key recommendations and conclusions.

The meeting also provided an opportunity for the project team to receive feedback, address questions and discuss the next steps for F4EClim. The constructive exchange with the SJU helped consolidate the work carried out so far and provided valuable input for the project’s continued development.

As F4EClim enters its final phase, the Maturity Gate Meeting marked an important step towards bringing together the knowledge, results and lessons developed throughout the project. With the foundations now firmly established, the project team is moving forward with a shared focus on consolidating its outcomes and maximising their contribution to a more efficient, resilient and sustainable future for European aviation.
