F4EClim at the SESAR Green Deal Flagship Meeting

On Thursday, 15th of May, F4EClim took part in the SESAR Green Deal Flagship exploitation activity held in Lisbon, Portugal, as part of the prestigious Airspace World framework. This event serves as a key platform for those SESAR projects innovating towards aviation sustainability, bringing together project coordinators to showcase their advances aligned with the European Green Deal.

Sigrun Matthes together with Manuel Soler presented the latest developments and results from the F4EClim project, emphasizing its contribution to climate-resilient aviation through CO2 and non-CO2 emissions evaluation and climate modelling.

Alongside F4EClim, several other Green Deal flagship projects were featured, including STEPLESS, AEROPLANE, E-CONTRAIL, GREEN GEAR, CICONIA, CONCERTO, GALAAD, DYN MARS, GEESE, ECHOES, and HERON. These initiatives collectively demonstrated the EU’s strong commitment to decarbonizing aviation and enhancing environmental performance across the board.
